Confirmation in terms of integration law

Confirmations in terms of Integration Law are solely issued for Nationals of Third Countries, which have to sign or have already signed an Integration Agreement. If you do not have EU/EEA or Swiss nationality you are a "national of a third country".

Please consider before applying:
  • The confirmation in terms of Residence Law only serves for the purpose referring in § 9 subpara. 4 lit 3 des Federal Integration Act – IntG, Federal Law Gazette I No. 68/2017, as amended what means that Modul 1 of the Integration Agreement is fulfilled. It is exclusively provided for submission to the competent Residency Authority and therefor doesn´t make a statement on the language skills niveau at all.
  • The original of the Diploma (Degree Certification) has to be legalized by the competent State Authorities. If the pre-evaluation of the documents assume incomplete legalization documentation, the application is sent back to be amended. Find further details here.

Required documents in colour:

  • Graduation Diploma/Degree(s) (academic degrees) in original text with full diplomatic authentification, if explicitly required in the individual application form
    Please limit the document to a maximum length of 3 pages.

  • Transcript of Records (List of examination subjects, Credentials, Markslist) and if available Diploma Supplement belonging to the Graduation Diploma/Degree(s)

  • Certified german or english translation (of a sworn translator) of Diploma/Degree(s), if explicitly required in the individual application form

  • Confirmation of an Austrian residence (proof of residency by ZMR-print out) or EU proof of residency which contains your physical address.

  • Passport or Identity Card

Optional documents:

  • Certificate of Change of Name (eg marriage certificate)

  • Secondary School Leaving Certificate

  • University Entrance Examination

Cross-Border-Study Program

For transnational studies the following documents are also required:

  • Transcript of records (credentials, or if available Diploma Supplement) from the foreign higher education institution

  • Transcript of records from the Austrian higher education institution, if involved
